The term “Lander” is one that we borrowed for this campaign. It is derived from two sources: (1) shorthand for one tasked with obtaining “the Lay of the Land,” and, (2) it is what NASA calls the first vehicle to land on a planet.
In Project Green and Grey, our Landers identify those 50+ already working on climate issues in that state. Then, they will either find someone to become a full-time representative of Project Green and Grey, or, if they want, the Lander can transition into that role.
